Departmental drop/add policy
Drops
The Department of Economics has established a new drop policy for undergraduate classes. Effective immediately, students may drop Economics courses only through the second week of the quarter. After the second week, permission to drop will NOT be granted by the instructor, except in the following courses (for Fall quarter 2009):
Economics 20B
For these exceptions, drops during the 3rd through the 6th weeks are possible, but only with the instructor's approval and signature. In accordance with the policy of the School of Social Sciences, students must also obtain the Dean's signature.
Adds
The Department of Economics' policy on adds follows that of the School of Social Sciences. The details are provided on the web site of the Undergraduate Counseling Office. To view that policy, click here: add/drop.
