An Abridged Catalog Description of the Economics Undergraduate Degree Programs
Economics studies the allocation of scarce resources; the way that individuals, groups, governments, and businesses make choices; and the consequences of those choices for people, nations, and society. Majors and Specializations
The Department offers three majors:
Students may complete only one major in economics. A specialization in International Issues and Economics is available to students in all three majors. The Honors Program is open to high-achieving students in all three majors. For the Department of Economics General Catalogue, click here.
